Today I stopped to think how one sees the world. Not what one thinks about the world, but how one sees it!
There are many ways of seeing the world; by Internet, with those famous panoramic camera that are supposed to show an entire city in many countries. By Television, when you sit you butt looking through a square box showing you the world they want you to see. By picture of your parents or friends that are abroad. Through an application on your phone. Through postcards that were sent to you. Etc.
There are indeed, many ways of seeing the world. However, let me ask you: Is there any better way to see the world if not by your own eyes? I doubt it.
When you are in the place and when you see it with your own eyes, it is NOT the same than seeing it by any other way. When you are there, you don't just SEE the place, you FEEL it too. You presence it, you get into the nature of it. Is it not really good to being in tune with where you are? Hum...
I like to say that, when I used to live in Brazil, 'my entire world' was resumed to; where I was (and a few states surround.), my own culture, my own language, my own culinary, etc. And all I used to see on the TV about the other countries and cultures were 'out of the world', 'surreal'. Until I decided it was time for me to see the 'out of the world' with my own eyes. To live it, to feel it, to be in tune with it... so I did.
When you are on your 'own world' it has a certain size, the size of what you see. But when you leave your 'own world' to see/live the 'out of the world' your world becomes bigger, and what you were used to think, you don't think any more. You left your world to live another, so after that you will have another world. And then you think: Will my world, with the size it has now, ever fit back on where it used to be? I don't know, yet.
But I've decided , a long time ago that while I don't know, I will still be making my world grow bigger and bigger. I will still want to see other countries, other cultures, another culinary, other natures, other beauties and all that comes with it. But I want to see it with my own eyes, I want to be there, to feel it... I want to enjoy every corner of a country(if I can).
Some people prefer the comfort of their couch and the security that a stable life brings. Just see some of the world's best sightseeing during their holidays. Hummm... It is still a way of seeing things, of course. But I like to live it too. To go down the root and live their lives, only if it is for a couple of days, doesn't matter because you're learning/living/feeling it and making your world grow bigger. That's how I want to see the world: With my own eyes, from its best.

Hoje parei para pensar como um vê o mundo. Não é o que um pensa sobre o mundo, mas como um vê!
Há muitas maneiras de ver o mundo; pela Internet, com as famosas câmeraa panorâmicaa, que supostamente mostra uma cidade inteira em muitos países. Pela televisão, quando você se senta sua bunda olhando para uma caixa quadrada mostrando-lhe o mundo que eles querem que você veja. Po um retrato de seus pais ou amigos que estão no exterior. Através de um aplicativo em seu telefone. Através de cartões postais que foram enviadas para você e etc.
Há, na verdade, muitas maneiras de se ver o mundo. No entanto, deixe-me perguntar: Existe alguma maneira melhor de ver o mundo se não por seus próprios olhos? Duvido.
Quando você está no lugar e quando você o vê com seus próprios olhos, não é mesmo que vê-lo por qualquer outra forma. Quando você esta lá, você não apenas ver o lugar, você sente ele também. Você presencia ele, você entra na natureza dele. Não é muito bom estar em sintonia com o lugar em que você está? Hum ...
Eu gosto de dizer que, quando eu morava no Brasil, "o meu mundo inteiro" era resimido a; onde eu estava (e alguns estados que cercam.), a minha própria cultura, a minha língua, minha culinária e etc. E tudo o que eu costumava ver na TV sobre os outros países e culturas eram 'fora do mundo', 'surreal'. Até que eu decidi que era hora de eu ver o 'fora do mundo ' com meus próprios olhos. Para vivê-lo, senti-lo, para estar em sintonia com ele ... foi assim que eu fiz.
Quando você está no seu "próprio mundo", ele tem um certo tamanho, do tamanho do que você vê. Mas quando você deixa o seu 'próprio mundo "para ver/viver o ' fora do mundo', o seu mundo se torna maior, eo que você estava acostumado a pensar, você não pensa mais. Você deixou seu mundo para viver outro, então depois disso você tem um outro mundo. E então você pensa: Será que o meu mundo, com o tamanho que tem agora, irá algum dia se encaixam de volta onde ele costumava estar? Eu não sei, ainda.
Mas eu decidi, há muito tempo que, enquanto eu não sei, eu ainda vou fazer meu mundo crescer cada vez maior. Eu ainda quero ver outros países, outras culturas, outras culinárias, outras naturezas, belezas e todos os outras coisas que vem com ele. Mas eu quero vê-lo com meus próprios olhos, eu quero estar lá, senti-lo ... Quero aproveitar todos os cantos de um país (se eu puder).
Algumas pessoas preferem o conforto do seu sofá ea segurança que uma vida estável traz. Basta ver alguns dos melhores pontos do mundo durante as suas férias. Hummm ... Ainda é uma maneira de ver as coisas, é claro. Mas eu gosto de vivê-la também. Descer na raiz e viver suas vidas, nem que seja por um par de dias, não importa, porque você está aprendendo / vivendo / sentindo e tornando o seu mundo maior. É assim que eu quero ver o mundo: Com meus próprios olhos, do seu melhor.
